Whilst an odd word to use when describing ones trip to the dentist I’d say my experience this morning was ‘delightful’. Carole was nothing but pleasant and the lovely Hannah, who I meet this for the first time, with her assistant Jess, was adorable. She even told me I brushed my teeth too much! Now There’s a first. I couldn’t recommend Evolve dentistry enough.

I visited Carol to have my amalgam fillings removed, and i had a few ! Like many I am not a fan and the procedure was pretty complex and i was not looking forward to what seemed like a long road ahead of me. However Carol and the team were brilliant. The entire experience from start to finish was extremely professional and totally painless. I am now totally amalgam free and so pleased that I made rhis commitment to my health and my teeth. I would just like to say thank you to Carol and the team at Evolve for looking after me so well. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I recently had composite bonding, laser gum shaping and tooth whitening done at Evolve with Jonathan Sproson. I am thrilled with the results and Jonathan really did a brilliant job, not just with the final result but throughout the process. He really listened to what I wanted and made sure the result was very natural and proportionate to the rest of my teeth. I was especially nervous for the laser gum shaping but he ensured it was completely pain free and always explained everything he was doing so I was at ease. Even though I was getting cosmetic work done, the health of my teeth and gums was also important and I felt that I was given the right support and advice on that side of it as well. All the staff members I came into contact with were lovely and very friendly. So many people have commented on the bonding and how natural it looks. Overall the whole experience was 10/10 and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for any cosmetic work done or just a new dental practice.

I came across Evolve after an old root canal tooth broke in half. What made it worse is that I hadn’t been to the dentist for years (too many that I’ll admit too), due to the fact I have a massive fear. Easily managed to obtain same day emergency appt & well ..... if I now said I had a fantastically rebuilt tooth, you would simply not believe it. I saw Dr Jonathan Sproson, who if you fear the dentist will change that forever. Trust me. Both him and his dental nurse are honestly amazing. Never once made me feel that I was a hassle, and their patience and understanding is brilliant. My tooth, it’s had a few 👍 comments too.

Carol has been fantastic with me as I have a fear of the dentist before I went to Evolve Dentistry I was a mess my gums were bad and I needed lots of work done. I've been Carol's patient for 8 years because of the incredible TLC I receive every time I set foot through those doors at Evolve Dentistry in Portishead. The quality of care and the attention to my needs at this practice are second to none. Although I live in Bristol, I choose to travel 90 minutes by bus each way, because they are that good at what they do and are so worth the journey. Eight years ago when I needed loads of work done on my teeth, I greatly feared the intense pain I had experienced at the hands of other dentists and anticipated the same here. When I reached out to Carol via her Facebook posts and told her my concerns, she personally responded and assured me that the techniques used at Evolve Dentistry will cause relatively no pain. During the procedure, she allowed me the time and breathing space I needed to be absolutely comfortable and relaxed. I wouldn't go anywhere else for all my dental and oral health needs because this practice is absolutely fabulous in every aspect of their work. I give them my highest recommendation.

6 weeks ago my teeth were rather wonky and a little discoloured, 6 weeks on I am practising how to smile showing my new whiter, straighter teeth having had 1 hygienist appointment, 1 home teeth whitening session and 1 painless composite bonding appointment with Jonathan on 3 front teeth. I am getting married and didn’t want to feel ill at ease in photos because of my smile. My teeth were breaking down at the front and were very discoloured. Sinnce i was young ive always had a large fear and anxiety of going to the dentist. Due to circumstances, i had to use a private dentist and i have never looked back. The team make me feel so at ease and sometimes i now even look forward to going! This practice is the best that i have been to and i really feel like they have made such a difference to my overall health - not just my mouth's!

Always professional and friendly. I've been looking for a really good dental practice and dentist for several years and have tried many. Ongoing problems with one particular tooth and an infection underneath made me keep searching for the right dentist. On my first visit after a thorough examination my options were laid out to me. I was able to choose what best suited me without me feeling I was being pushed down the root canal path - which I didn't want to take. I've been pain free since we finished the treatment. During today's visit I was particularly impressed by Emma the hygienist, thanks Emma my teeth feel and look great. It's a great team and extremely pleasant environment, thank you.

I had put off seeing a dentist for 20 years after some bad experiences when I was younger. Not seeing a dentist in a while left me with a lot of issues to fix combined with the fact that I wanted to get my mercury amalgam fillings removed lead me to search for a mercury free dentist, having spotted evolve walking around portishead combined with research on dentists on the IAOMT website I made an appointment. The place made me feel relaxed and confident that I made the right choice. Now that the work is complete I feel a lot better and happy that I dont have a toxic substance in my mouth.

For many years I was so stressed about visiting the dentist, but this practice has made me feel quite happy to attend and relaxed about it. I had a crown done here last year and it was amazing, pain free, quick with only 1 visit. Carol is a wonderful, gentle dentist and the hygienist is also great and she is the only hygienist I have ever seen who has not caused me pain and stress. All the staff make you feel welcome and special and I can’t recommend this practice too much.I drive here from Plymouth as this is the only dentist I have faith in and I won’t go anywhere else.Over a year later I still think this dentist is amazing and wouldn’t go elsewhere. Apart from bein great, the tea is good too😁😁

I was previously a patient with a dentist surgery in Clevedon. Over recent months, I have experienced a number of problems with my teeth and gums which were dismissed by my current dentist over a number of visits.I scheduled an appointment at Evolve for a second opinion, when the discomfort became too much, where Dr Jonathan Sproson met me for a consultation, before an extremely thorough examination. He covered everything, made me feel at ease, and formed a diagnosis and a treatment plan. He took his time, took photographs, x-rays, and talked me through each.After diagnosing the gum disease, I then met with Hannah Mundy, one of their hygienists. Again, she was very thorough and already things are feeling a little better, and I certainly feel more at ease and confident that the issue will be resolved. I have another two hour-long appointments with Hannah booked over the next couple of weeks to help get things under control.It's frustrating the diagnosis wasn't made by my existing dentist as things could have been sorted before they'd gotten this bad, but I'm confident that Evolve will be able to help.The staff are extremely knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. I would highly recommend. The level of care, and the thoroughness, is way beyond what I have experienced elsewhere.

I searched for an holistic dentist who could remove my amalgam fillings safely as after much research, I no longer wanted mercury in my system impacting my long term health. Or to visit any dentist who continues to regularly use mercury fillings in their practice and without the essential removal safety protocol for such an easily airborne toxin. Luckily I found just what I needed. Evolve is a beautifully designed practice with an air of calm, extremely clean and with excellent and highly knowledgeable staff.I felt in safe hands through quite an involved procedure and was amazed how painless it was. A totally different experience to any previous dentistry I'd received and well worth a little extra cost.I continue to visit for my regular check ups and hygienist visits.

Julie as was very helpful when I rang and I booked my appointment with Jonathan for a couple weeks later. I was so pleased and impressed with the advice and help Jonathan gave that I immediately knew I had made a good choice. He listened and understood my symptoms and offered a treatment plan. I have just got home following my second appointment and I now have a new splint which Jonathan ensured fits accurately to help. Not only did Jonathan help me with his problem but he also noticed a tooth that needed treatment. I am a very nervous dental patient but Jonathan made the procedure pain free and I was very relaxing thinking of my forthcoming holiday! I researched dentists for years trying to find the right one. With Evolve I didn't just get the brace I wanted at the price I wanted but I got personal customer service and always felt extremely welcome. My dentist Lisa was excellent, explained everything clearly and worked efficiently. Julie and Stephanie always stopped for a welcoming chat at reception, remembering small details about life, that make you feel more than a customer. I travel 110 miles per each round trip to visit Evolve Dentistry, that's how good they are! I wanted 7 amalgam fillings fully removed and replaced by white ones and it was very important for me to have this work carried out in a safe environment (for medical reasons - a discovered metal allergy) hence the initial reason for trying them, and selecting them from three such practices. The work is completed now and I must say I am astounded by the friendliness of the staff and most importantly the skill and competence of Carol who treated me with respect and patience throughout. Carol is obviously at the very top of her profession and I felt in very safe hands. The treatment took a while as the work was not straightforward but she took it in her stride. It was painless during and after treatment, I was even drifting off to sleep during it. For me, the overall experience is worth the long round trip. My teeth look and feel great. I would completely recommend Evolve Dentistry if one is looking for expert treatment in a relaxing environment. Thank you Carol and your team.

I've been seeing Carol (dentist) and Jo (hygienist) pretty much since the practice opened. I am more than happy to travel from Bristol, as everything about this practice is spot on. The team are all friendly, professional, patient and kind. I also believe they are brilliant at what they do. I've never had better dental care. I requested an appointment with Jonathan Sproson after hearing reassuring feedback about his work with TMJ patients. Going over my history, I felt as though I was listened to and, most importantly, consulted about possible treatment pathways. I was looking for a mercury free dentist who would remove my amalgams using an enhanced protocol & my search lead me to Evolve. Having previously had some unpleasant dental experiences & consequently being a bit nervous of dental appointments, I find it pleasantly surprising that I actually almost look forward to going to the dentist now! My experience of Evolve has been relaxing, pain free & most importantly patient centred, so much so I have already recommended Carol & her team to a few friends who are looking to replace some crowns they aren’t happy with.

I wanted to have my amalgam fillings removed and in my search to find a dentist that took them out holistically I found Evolve Dentistry. Carol was very thorough she explained what she needed to do for me to be amalgam free. I have had problems with my teeth in the past and had lost confidence in previous dentists with bad experiences. I'm particularly nervous about my Dental care having had numerous bad experiences in the past. I've been using Evolve now for the last 8 years, for the simple reason that they are modern thinking yet dependable. The culture of all the staff make you feel relaxed from the minute you walk through the door, a friendly personal welcome and a re-assuring smile from Teresa or Justine puts you at ease. I have been a patient here nearly 2 years.I always get a lovely welcome from the reception team. Their service is excellent both dentistry and hygienist. I never feel nervous and I am always put at ease. My last dentist was with the NHS. I decided to go private, because I feel one gets better treatment and it is so worth the extra cost. I have taken out a private dental plan too which I didn't think was expensive.I can highly recommend Evolve Dentistry

I’m really happy to have found a mercury-free dentist who has a holistic approach, all right on my doorstep. I have always been quite a nervous patient but Carol has a great way of reassuring me and taking the time necessary to ensure everything is comfortable. I love the attention to detail, it’s a good notch above the others I’ve been to and sometimes I could almost forget I’m actually at the dentists. Love my new smile😀 having been really scared of dentists for a long time and only gone in emergencies Carol and her team were really supportive, and gentle. Gradually my teeth have been miraculously transformed and look brilliant in all senses of the word. Having crowns done here is so much quicker and less disturbing and look really good. It is a little expensive but worth every penny. My new crowns and veneers look great. Thank you.

Carol has been my dentist since she opened her practice in Portished. She not only restored my faith in dentists, after dreadful past treatments, but has reduced my fear to almost zero! First and foremost she is a brilliantly knowledgable dentist, however, she is also a lovely person with a ready smile and good sense of humour who always takes time to ask about the family etc. I’m also impressed by the state-of-the-art technology; crowns etc are all done within the same appointment. Joanne is my hygienist whom I cannot speak highly enough of. Lovely lady, as are the rest of the team. Want a good dentist in Portishead? This one is The Best.

I definitely recommend Jon and the team at Evolve if you are thinking about improving your smile. I have just completed treatment with an Inman Alligner. Amazingly treatment with the Alligner took less than 8 weeks to achieve a fabulous result, which I’m really pleased with . Everyone at Evolve is so kind and friendly , so if you are thinking about it , go for it , you won’t regret it!

I had a filling at Evolve Dentistry recently and I can honestly say that it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Carol made me feel very relaxed immediately and my treatment was very gentle, with everything being explained at each stage of the process. I was particularly pleased that they used numbing gel before they injected me so it was pain free. A totally new experience for me. I can highly recommend Evolve Dentistry.
