Position Type: Temporary (Mid-July 2025 to Early February 2026)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Dentist to join our team temporarily from mid-July to early February. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional dental care, uphold our commitment to preventive techniques, and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction. There is potential for the right candidate that some permanent days will be offered at the end of the maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues.
• Provide a range of treatments, including routine dental care, cosmetic dentistry and short term orthodontics as well as preventive care.
• Collaborate with our experienced clinical team to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with GDPR and practice policies.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations within the dental practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
• Professional indemnity insurance.
• Proven experience in private practice; additional experience in cosmetic dentistry or orthodontics is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
