Dentist – GDC No. 68009
Qualified: 1992
We are delighted to inform you that Mike Gregory is offering a denture referral option at Evolve Dentistry, Portishead. Mike has over 40 years of experience working in dentistry, having originally trained as a technician, before he qualified as a dentist at Bristol University. He has spent the last 25 years as a part-time Teaching Fellow at the Dental School in Bristol sharing his passion for the subject by teaching the undergraduates. Mike can now provide beautiful, natural-looking dentures here at Evolve Dentistry. He uses his vast experience to craft the dentures doing most of the technical work himself to ensure that he achieves the exact requirements of the patient, providing a personal service with an exceptional level of care.
Our aim is to ensure that both the patient and the referring dentist are delighted with the treatment and care we provide.
“I couldn’t recommend Evolve enough!! Lisa is my orthodontist there and she is simply the best, she has worked wonders on my teeth which has given me the confidence to smile!! Not forgetting to mention the staff are all lovely and super friendly!”
“I had been seeing another Bristol dentist, as due to cancer treatment, I had lost the bone in my mouth which caused my bridge and teeth to become unstable. My dentist informed me that it wouldn’t be possible to have implants. It was a very big decision to have dentures but my dentist recommended Mike Gregor as he said he would be the best person to deal with my situation. I immediately felt safe with Mike as he informed me of all the stages I would have to go through. It was a stressful time but Mike and his assistant reassured me. I have had to return for adjustments and they have been available even throughout the coronavirus situation. Finally, I am delighted with the look of my dentures and enjoy smiling again.”
“Thank you so much for all the care and attention you have given x’s treatment. Her teeth look amazing and the process has been very professional and seamless.”
“I was referred to Mike for some denture work, so hadn’t made a conscious choice to come to Evolve. However, from my very first appointment I felt in very safe hands. Mike listened to my thoughts, hopes and expectations, he explained the whole process and answered all my questions. Having completed my treatment I have come away with dentures that have far exceeded my expectations. I have had to return on a couple of occasions for some minor tweaks and have found that nothing is too much trouble. If I need any denture work in the future I will definitely be returning to see Mike. I have found the whole process at Evolve to be very relaxed and professional.”
“I have had the good fortune to know Mike Gregory over the last twenty five years, both as a colleague and a friend. I referred all my difficult cases to him, always assured of a successful result! My sister, needing a metal upper partial denture for the first time, having had it fitted, has never had to return for any clinical readjustment! My husband (also a Dental Surgeon) and I are both patients of Mike Gregory’s, as are most of my friends and acquaintances.” – Dr Emily Tingle
“I first started using Mike Gregory after a stressful case, that I couldn’t manage, after endless retry appointments I gave up and sent her to Mike. The result was so amazing, and the patient was so delighted. I now try and send all my denture patients to him. He really is the master of the dark art of dentures. – Dr Katherine Leeming BDS MFDS RCS (Ed)
“Dr Mike Gregory has a unique knowledge and skill base, which marries his clinical and technical expertise to produce excellent quality denture work. Understanding and meeting his patients’ needs are of utmost importance to Dr Mike Gregory. With his caring manner and down to earth approach, he can put even the most nervous patients at ease.” – Dr Rebecca Wignall BSc BDS PG Cert

What exactly is a dental crown?
In this video, Carol explains how crowns help restore and protect teeth that have been weakened by cracks, root canal treatment or large fillings.
A crown acts like a protective cap, binding the tooth together and giving it the strength it needs for everyday biting and chewing.
Watch the video to learn when a crown may be recommended and how it helps protect your smile.

Did you know that chewing sugar free gum after eating can actually help protect your teeth? 🍬➡️🦷
In this video, Carol explains why dentists often recommend sugar free gum after meals. Chewing gum stimulates saliva, which helps wash away food particles and neutralise acids that can lead to tooth decay.
It’s not a replacement for brushing, but it can be a helpful extra habit when you’re out and about and can’t brush your teeth straight away.
