Your Journey

At Evolve, we like to find out as much about you, your dental history and your concerns as possible. This helps us provide you with the best possible experience possible. When you first come to Evolve, as a guest or as a member, you will follow the below journey.

It’s likely that you will have already spoken to either Julie or Rachael to book your new patient consultation. They are your first point of contact, if you ever want to discuss your treatment, you can contact them directly. When you book a new patient appointment, we will send you a link to some forms to complete ahead of your new patient consultation to help us get to know you a little better.

Consultation 2 New patient consultation

New patient consultation

When you arrive, Rachael or Julie will have a chat with you, giving you the time to ask any questions you may have. Following this, you will meet the Dentist who will be looking after you who will carry out a full clinical exam of your oral health. They will then discuss all of the treatment options with you.

Consultation 3 Treatment Plan

Treatment Plan

Following your new patient consultation, the Dentist will prepare a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. This involves detailed treatment options, timelines, and addressing any concerns you may have. Our aim is to ensure transparency and clarity throughout this phase, enabling you to make informed decisions.

Consultation 4 Finance options

🪥 Smile hack: timing your tooth brushing

Did you know that brushing your teeth straight after eating isn’t always the best idea?

In this quick video, Maggie explains why it’s better to wait a little while before brushing. After eating, especially acidic foods and drinks, the enamel on your teeth can be temporarily softened. Brushing too soon can actually cause more wear.

Waiting around 30 minutes gives your saliva time to neutralise the acids and protect your teeth.

Watch Maggie’s smile hack to learn the simple change that can help keep your teeth healthier.

Did you know that chewing sugar free gum after eating can actually help protect your teeth? 🍬➡️🦷

In this video, Carol explains why dentists often recommend sugar free gum after meals. Chewing gum stimulates saliva, which helps wash away food particles and neutralise acids that can lead to tooth decay.

It’s not a replacement for brushing, but it can be a helpful extra habit when you’re out and about and can’t brush your teeth straight away.
