Dentistry At your new patient appointment, we spend between 40 – 60 minutes with you to get to know you and your mouth.
After you have been greeted by one of the welcome team , one of our Treatment Co-ordinators will have a chat with you in the private consultation room. We will need to ask about your medical history as some medical conditions or medication may affect the treatment that we offer you.
As a new patient, we want to know what your dental experiences have been in the past and give you the time to ask any questions that you may have. Following your chat with one of our Treatment Co-ordinators, you will meet the Clinician who will be looking after you on that day for your new patient consultation.
During your new patient consultation with your clinician, we will carry out a full clinical exam of your oral health including:
Once you have had your new patient examination, if you wish to continue as a patient at Evolve, you will need to join as a member of our Dental Health Plan. This costs just £29.95 per month, which entitles you to a wide range of benefits.

Dental photographs aren`t just for before-and-afters.
They can help us record what we`re seeing, monitor changes, explain things more clearly and involve you in conversations about your own teeth.
Richard explains why you might see a camera appear during an appointment at Evolve.
Because when we`re talking about your mouth, we think it`s rather useful if you can see what we`re talking about too.

If it’s been a while since your last dental examination, not knowing what to expect can sometimes make booking that appointment feel like a much bigger deal.
So what actually happens when you come in?
Richard explains what your dentist is looking for during a dental examination - and why it involves much more than simply checking whether you need a filling.
Regular examinations give us an opportunity to keep an eye on your teeth, gums and mouth, talk about anything that has changed and identify anything that may need our attention.
And if you haven’t been for a while? Please don’t feel embarrassed.
