Merry Christmas From The Evolve Dentistry Team

Throughout the month of December we have been having some #FestiveFun on our Twitter and Facebookpages by setting ourselves a #ChristmasPhotoChallenge! You may have noticed that each day our team has been posting a Christmassy picture to get us, and you, in the mood for the festivities to come.

We kicked things off with a photo of Carol, our principal dentist, looking very angelic in tinsel, which perfectly set the tone for the daily pictures to follow. Throughout the month, our Santa puppet has been cropping up here, there, and everywhere to keep us on our toes, and so have our lovely Gromits! On the 14th day, we even welcomed a new Gromit to the team; if you haven’t seen him take a quick scroll through the pictures now, he’s fabulous!

On the 21st, we gave you a little sneak peek into our Christmas party, although we did keep most of those fun and frolics to ourselves; sometimes what goes on tour should stay on tour! The whole Evolve Dentistry team have got involved with the challenge this December, adorning themselves in Christmas hats to bring some festive cheer to you all.

We’ve really enjoyed the #ChristmasPhotoChallenge because it’s helped to get us all in the mood and enjoy the fun side of the build up to the big day, we hope you’ve enjoyed it too. Perhaps we’ll have to think of some new picture challenges throughout the year – all ideas welcome!

We’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and thank you for all your support during 2016, here’s to a happy and healthy new year for all.

✨ Only around 4% of adults are thought to hit the recommended daily fibre target
✨ Small changes can make a big difference
✨ Diversity of plant foods is often the easiest place to start

If you’re curious about how to improve your health in a simple, sustainable way, this blog is for you.

Can chipped teeth be fixed without braces? In this latest Two Thirty episode, Carol explains that the answer depends on why the tooth chipped in the first place.

Sometimes teeth chip because of the way they meet or their position. In these cases, orthodontic treatment may be recommended to move the teeth into a healthier position and help prevent further damage.

For many chips, a simple and effective option is composite bonding - carefully adding tooth-coloured material to rebuild the shape and restore your smile.

Bleeding gums are never something to ignore. In this latest Two Thirty episode, Richard explains how gum disease often starts as gingivitis - where the gums become swollen and may bleed - but with the right care, this early stage can often be reversed.

If left untreated, gum disease can progress and may lead to bone loss around the teeth. The good news is that regular hygiene visits and good home care can make a real difference.
