You may already know that all dental practices and other healthcare facilities are independently inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure that they comply with all relevant regulations. Here at Evolve Dentistry in Portishead, Bristol, we’re super excited to reveal that we’ve had our inspection and the report shows that we’ve passed in all of the five areas, which are: safety, care, leadership, effectiveness, and how responsive we are to people’s needs.

Passing an inspection isn’t just about how we perform on one day of the year, there’s a whole raft of factors that are taken into account such as procedures and policies that must be in place in line with regulations, you can’t just give the place a quick tidy up the day before and hope for the best! Of course, we maintain our compliance all year round because we are fully committed to the care that we provide for our patients, and because it’s just the right thing to do! That’s why we’re not surprised that we passed with flying colours, we simply see it as part of providing a proper service.

One of the comments in our CQC report that we’re most proud of is: ‘Feedback from patients was positive about the care they received from the practice. They commented staff put them at ease, listened to their concerns and provided an excellent service in which they had confidence in the dental care provided.’

We’re so proud of our whole team for their continued commitment to keeping the standards of our practice so high. We’re completely dedicated to providing a quality service for our patients and an excellent working environment for our staff.
