It’s easy to pay for your orthodontic treatment at Evolve Dentistry. We offer two options, you can either pay in full at the start of your treatment, or you can opt for finance. We offer 10 months interest-free finance for treatment up to £3,750 or 24 months finance for any amount over that. Everyone’s teeth move at different rates, your treatment may take more or less time than we predict, this does not affect the total cost that you pay.

Payment is due in full prior to the brace being fitted.
Am I too old for braces?
No – there’s no age limit. As long as your teeth and gums are healthy, adult braces or aligners can work at any age.
What types of braces do you offer?
We offer fixed braces, clear aligners, and other modern teeth straightening solutions.
Will braces be painful?
Most patients feel some initial pressure or mild discomfort, which eases within a few days.
How long will treatment take?
Treatment usually takes between 6–24 months depending on your individual needs.
Can I spread the cost of treatment?
Yes – our finance options allow you to pay monthly, making adult braces in Portishead affordable.
Do I need to be a patient at Evolve Dentistry?
No. You can come to Evolve just for teeth straightening, even if you have a regular dentist elsewhere.

Why do gums bleed when you brush?
If you’ve noticed your gums bleeding when brushing your teeth, you’re not alone - and it’s usually a sign your gums are inflamed.
In many cases this happens when plaque builds up along the gum line. The gums become irritated and more fragile, which means they can bleed more easily when brushing.
The good news is that with consistent oral hygiene - brushing thoroughly twice a day and cleaning between your teeth - many people notice improvement within a couple of weeks.
However, if the bleeding continues, it’s worth having it checked. Regular bleeding can sometimes indicate gum disease, and an examination at the practice allows us to assess your gum health and give the right advice.
