Considering discreet straightening

What are Angel Aligners and how do they work?

Clear aligners have become an increasingly popular way to straighten teeth, particularly for adults looking for a more discreet alternative to traditional braces.

At Evolve Dentistry, many patients ask us about Angel Aligners and how the treatment works.

This modern aligner system is designed to move teeth gradually using a series of custom-made clear trays, helping patients improve their smile comfortably and discreetly.

What are Angel Aligners?

Angel Aligners are a clear aligner system used to straighten teeth without fixed metal braces.

Each aligner is custom-made to fit your teeth precisely. Over time, the aligners apply gentle pressure to guide teeth into their planned positions.

Because the aligners are clear, many patients feel more confident wearing them during everyday life, work and social situations.

What problems can Angel Aligners help treat?

Angel Aligners may be suitable for a range of orthodontic concerns, including:

  • crowded teeth
  • gaps between teeth
  • mild to moderate bite issues
  • crooked or uneven teeth
  • relapse following previous orthodontic treatment

During your consultation, we will assess your teeth and discuss whether aligners are likely to be suitable for your smile.

How does the process work?

1. Consultation and digital scan

Treatment begins with a consultation and a detailed digital scan of your teeth.

Unlike traditional impressions, digital scanning is quick and comfortable. The scan allows us to create a personalised treatment plan and show a digital preview of how your teeth may move during treatment.

2. Custom treatment planning

Using advanced software, each stage of your tooth movement is carefully planned.

This digital planning helps create a series of aligners designed specifically for your smile.

3. Wearing your aligners

You will wear each set of aligners for around one to two weeks before progressing to the next stage.

Aligners should usually be worn for 20–22 hours each day and removed only for:

  • eating
  • drinking anything except water
  • brushing and cleaning between your teeth

Because the aligners are removable, patients can continue enjoying their normal diet and oral hygiene routine.

4. Review appointments

Throughout treatment, you will attend regular review appointments so we can monitor progress and make sure your teeth are moving as planned.

Many patients find these appointments straightforward and convenient.

What are the benefits of Angel Aligners?

Patients often choose Angel Aligners because they are:

  • discreet and nearly invisible
  • removable for eating and cleaning
  • comfortable to wear
  • digitally planned for precision
  • suitable for many adult lifestyles

The smooth plastic design also means there are no brackets or wires to irritate the inside of the mouth.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment length varies depending on the complexity of the case.

Some patients may complete treatment in a matter of months, while more complex cases can take longer.

Your personalised treatment plan will provide a clearer idea of expected timescales during your consultation.

✨ “I’d definitely recommend Evolve.” ✨

When David first came to see us, he was unhappy with the appearance of his teeth and felt self-conscious about how wonky they looked.

He told us that his confidence had been affected so much that he would often keep his mouth closed when talking.

Like many patients, David was nervous about starting treatment, but our team took the time to listen, answer his questions and support him every step of the way.

Using teeth straightening followed by composite bonding, we helped David achieve the smile he had always wanted - and in just 9 months.

For David, the biggest change wasn’t just his teeth. It was feeling confident enough to smile, speak and be himself again.

Thank you, David, for trusting us with your smile and for sharing your experience.

🦷 How often should you visit the dentist?

It’s one of the questions we’re asked most often, and the answer might surprise you.

Many people assume everyone should visit every six months, but that’s not always the case. Some patients may only need to see us every 12 months, while others benefit from more frequent visits every three or four months.

The right interval depends on factors such as your oral health, risk of tooth decay, gum health and any ongoing treatment.

In today’s Two Thirty video, Richard explains why dental review appointments are tailored to each individual and how regular visits help us spot potential problems before they become bigger issues.

Take a look at the video to learn more, and if you’re unsure when your next review is due, our team will be happy to help.

✨ Why are so many patients choosing Angel Aligners? ✨

If you’ve been thinking about straightening your teeth but are worried about noticeable braces, Angel Aligners could be the perfect solution.

In today’s video, Yasmin explains why patients love Angel Aligners. The clear aligners are comfortable, removable and incredibly discreet, meaning most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them.

But it’s not just patients who love them.

As a dentist, Yasmin values the flexibility Angel Aligners provide. By carefully placing attachments on the teeth, she can achieve precise movements and help treat more complex cases than many people realise.

The result? A straighter smile with a treatment that fits around your everyday life.

Watch the video below to hear Yasmin explain why Angel Aligners have become such a popular choice for patients looking to transform their smile.
